Chocolate Chickpea Slices

I had quite a few messages asking me for a chickpea recipe that doesn’t have any peanut butter in it and after going through quite a few tins of chickpeas to test it; I’m really happy with this recipe!! They’re sooo fudgy and taste really indulgent but you still definitely not guess that there are chickpeas hiding in there! I used chocolate buttons but feel free to add dark chocolate, nuts or raisins and even berries work really well to customise to however you fancy!

Great recipe and easy to whip up, I realised that I could away with using a blender as I didn’t have a food processor. The batter does get a bit thick towards the end but pulsing helps to get everything moving. Would defo recommend!

I accidentally bought M&S gigantic chocolate buttons but OMG they are luxurious. I had to break them up. A lovely lie in treat in bed with coffee this bank holiday morning
