Cheesy BBQ Chilli Tacos

This is a great veggie dump bag that you can make by simmering on the hob until you are left with a thick, sweet and smoky taco filling which you can enjoy on its own with own with some rice or salad but I decided to add these to some mini tortillas and make some baked tacos! These are vegetarian but feel free if you want to replace the tin of taco beans with 500g of lean mince beef too!

Want to make this higher in protein?

  • Feel free to swap the tinned taco beans for 500g of lean minced beef or 600g of diced chicken breast

As for all the dump bag recipes, feel free to just make it on the day and add the ingredients listed straight to the pan and skip the process of adding them to a freezer bag!

So easy to make, perfect for a school night. I also added in some ground beef / pork mix and they were so delicious. Even my kids ate them (6 and 4) without complaining about the beans and veggies! Amazing.
