Healthier Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Helloooo everyone! Happy weekend baking club! I thought with the success of the mini Maryland cookies on Instagram I would share a recipe for a lighter version of double chocolate chip cookies- which would be sooo good for lunchboxes! These are one of my favourite recipes to make if ever I am going anywhere and want to take a little bake with me- I hope you love them!

Maybe I made them too thick but pushed them down as flat as I could on the baking tray. They are very dry. I used milled flaxseed so perhaps without that they wouldn't be as dry. Any tips?

Need to flatten them more next time! 🤣 These have a really nice taste and with a little bit of flaky salt on top were perfect 😋

Ready for teens to get in from school! Tried a sneaky one myself. They do have a different texture to other cookies due to the porridge oats and flaxseed. It is a bit dryer and soft, so you do need a cup of tea to wash it down, but tasty and healthier, so a win.
