Chickpea Cookie Dough Balls

I love trying to sneak chickpeas into recipes as a way to pack in some extra protein, fibre and iron! If you need a little afternoon pick me up or a good pre-workout option that you can prep in minutes, these are soooo good and a great one to get the little ones involved with over the 6 weeks too! I added dark chocolate chips but feel free to add in any little customs you fancy like raisins, 100s & 1000s or some chopped nuts!! They also freeze brilliantly and if you pop them in the microwave on full for 15 seconds they melt and taste AMAZING!!!

My 6 year old adores these and she's the fussiest eater with a very sweet tooth. I dont find these too sweet and although I'm not in love they are somewhat morish so will surely be a regular feature for us

Made these for myself and other half and the toddlers have pinched them! Such a great way to get some goodness in and much better than what you can buy in the shops!

Can these be made without peanut butter? I have a nut allergy and am struggling to find sweet treat recipes

Ummmm how many are we supposed to eat 🤔, I've had 4 already 🤦‍♀️. I've also sprinkled a little salt on top too, I quite liked the saltyness, but it disappeared after I had finished making them. Love these very much 😍
