Takeaway-Style Garlic & Black Pepper Beef

Whenever we have a takeaway we like to try one dish as an extra that we might not have had before and the other week we tried a garlic and black pepper beef dish from our local Chinese and it was sooo lovely that I wanted to try and recreate it for us at home but without the any of the excess fat or grotty feeling you feel after having a takeaway sometimes! This is sooo speedy so perfect for after work or even better at the weekend when you fancy something a bit more indulgent!

Made this for last night's tea, all 3 kids loved it and said I can make it again. Really quick and easy to prep and cook before busy nights of childrens clubs. Changed the sirloin for thin beef steaks and it stayed lovely and soft as only fried quickly. Was eaten before I could get a picture!

yum! was a tad oily (which scared my ED head) but so tasty and we got through the meal despite my silly head. my partner accidentally picked up beef mince from shopping but shaped them into cubes and fried it off which was delish like little burger bites in a delish sauce 🥳

Yummmm, such a tasty sauce!! I used udon noodles as I'm obsessed with them and swapped the sirloin for Squeaky Bean vegan chargrilled steak pieces 😍 this was insanely good
