How much lentils should you add in if using? And would red lentils be ok or should it be tinned?

The ragu was so tasty my favourite recipe so far! The dough balls were really good too.

I loved the dough balls but wasn’t as keen on the beef ragu. The meat was lovely and tender but the vegetables gave out a lot of water so the sauce wasn’t as thick as I might have liked.

A great hit with the whole family, I opted to add all the optional veg, and even the mushroom-phobe had a clean plate.

What a way to get my son to eat more veg! Every mouthful was demolished and enjoy. Definitely going to be made again in the near future. I upgraded the dough balls by making with Greek yogurt, sr flour and Italian seasoning
